Our Youth Democracy Summit is designed to help empower participants to protect democratic institutions.
This summit, organized by Leader Curt Collier, is a collaboration with several partners, including Democracy in Action,Groundwork Elizabeth, the New York Society for Ethical Culture, and Global Exchange, which is providing a $15,000 grant for expenses.
Participants in our Summer Youth Employment Program will help plan and run the summit, which will feature guest speakers from Latin America and the Caribbean who are actively involved in democracy and human rights initiatives. They will share firsthand stories of leadership, civic engagement, and social change.
This event, Guardians of Democracy Youth Summit: International Perspectives For Empowering Youth, is at the Kean University STEM Building, 6th floor, 1075 Morris Ave., Union, NJ.
