Youth auditions (Ages 15 and under) for roles in Actors Theatre at the ARTfactory's production of Disney Newsies will be held on January 30 & 31 during PPT's Oliver! auditions.
Audition Dates: January 30 from 5 - 9 pm and Saturday, January 31 from 9 am - 3 pm. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, February 1 beginning at 1 pm.
Audition Format: Please prepare one 30 second cut of a song in the style of the show. Please prepare (1) 60 second memorized monologue. Be prepared to dance. Please wear appropriate shoes and attire for the dance portion of the audition.
NEWSIES Rehearsals will be Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning March 24 and running through the end of May. There will be some rehearsals on Saturdays in April and in May, they will be every Saturday.
Tech Week will be Monday, June 1 - Thursday, June 7.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 on June 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 and Sundays June 3, 10 and 17 at 2 pm.
Rehearsals will be held at the ARTfactory.
Performances will be in the Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center.
