Each afternoon, young artists head to Adamah Art Studios for a deep dive into hands-on artmaking. Guided by experienced teaching artists, kids explore creative mediums and techniques rarely offered in school programs—using professional tools and materials in a welcoming studio environment.
Art activities may include:
• Pottery wheel throwing
• Hand-building and sculptural clay projects
• Fused glass and kiln-formed creations
• Printmaking
• Mixed-media projects
• Nature-inspired art challenges
• Creative problem-solving and design thinking
Along the way, artists build skills, confidence, and a strong sense of artistic identity while learning through experimentation and play.

🌿 Nature’s Palette
June 15–19, 3–5 p.m.
Step into the beauty and inspiration of the natural world! Young artists will explore shapes, textures, and colors found in nature while experimenting with clay, glass, and mixed media. This week encourages curiosity, hands-on creativity, and a deeper connection to the outdoors through art.

July 6–10, 3–5 p.m.
Dive into a vibrant week of color, pattern, and design! Young artists will explore how colors interact, create visual rhythms, and experiment with materials to make bold, expressive art. Each day offers opportunities to discover personal style, collaborate, and have fun with creative problem-solving.
🌀 Tactile Treasures
July 13–17, 3–5 p.m.
This week is all about texture, surface, and the feel of materials. Young artists will explore how different textures can change the look and mood of their art, experimenting with clay, glass, and other hands-on materials. It’s a sensory-rich week of exploration, experimentation, and playful discovery.
🔥 Ignite!
July 20–24, 3–5 p.m.
Explore the power of transformation through fire, light, and energy! Young artists will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques that change with heat and color, learning how energy and creativity can combine to produce vibrant, dynamic artwork.
🐾 Creature Creations
August 3–7, 3–5 p.m.
Celebrate the imagination and diversity of the animal kingdom! Young artists will explore movement, form, and personality through art while working with clay, glass, and other materials. The week encourages creativity, storytelling, and playful expression inspired by animals real and imagined.
