Join us at Woods Lake for a free, family-friendly event where kids and their families can learn the basics of kayaking and explore the natural wonders of the Kalamazoo River Watershed! Hosted in partnership with the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council.
This hands-on outdoor experience is designed for families with kids ages 5 and up who are new to kayaking. Participants will enjoy a series of hands-on educational activities, interactive games, and guided kayaking instruction. Children who complete all activities throughout the event will receive a prize.
Kzoo Parks will provide kayaks, and Mainstream Tackle & Outdoors will be providing canoes.
