About this Event
Create, connect, and celebrate the season together!
Black Arts Love invites parents and teens to join our free two-day Youth & Family Holiday Art & Gift Making Series, a warm and creative workshop designed to bring families together through hands-on artmaking. Using paint, paper, mixed media, and guided prompts, families will craft festive winter art and handmade gifts to share with loved ones.
No experience needed — just bring your creativity and come ready to have fun!
This program is made possible with support from the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture.
Workshop Details
Day 1 – Holiday Art Exploration
- Winter-themed painting
- Handmade greeting cards
- Paper-based art projects
- Family creative stations
Day 2 – Gift-Making & Creativity
- Handmade gift-making
- Keepsake art project
- Family collaborative art
- Take-home creations for holiday giving
Who Can Attend?
- Parents/guardians and teens (ages 12–17)
- Open to all skill levels
- Free to the community, registration required
- Space is limited — early sign-ups encouraged!
