Subject: Neighbors Wanted for an August 14–16 Neighborhood Rummage Sale
Hi neighbors! I’m Tia, and I’m organizing a neighborhood-wide rummage sale for Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16.
The idea is simple: everyone can hold their own sale at their own home, but by coordinating the same weekend, we can advertise it as a larger neighborhood sale. More nearby sales give shoppers more variety and a stronger reason to visit our area.
You would:
* Keep control of your own items, prices, hours and money
* Be included in the shared Facebook, Nextdoor and flyer advertising
* Be added to a list or map of participating homes
* Choose whether to participate for one, two or all three days
Don’t want to host at your house? I may also be able to sell a limited number of clean, priced and labeled items at my sale. We would use a color-coded tag system to keep each neighbor’s earnings separate. This matches the neighbor coordination system in the Rummage Sale Master Plan. The goal is to help everyone clear out clutter, attract more shoppers and make some extra money together.
