We’d love for you to join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the newly rebuilt McKennan Park wading pool and bath house!
After more than 50 years, the original pool and bath house were ready for an update. This $4.4 million project brings modern features, expanded capacity, and a fresh new look, while keeping the wading pool free and accessible for everyone in Sioux Falls.
A significant portion of the project was made possible thanks to a generous donation from Pierce and Barbara McDowell through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
What’s New:
• A fully updated wading pool with zero‑depth entry and a 2‑foot maximum depth
• Fun spray features and a small slide
• More shade and room for families
• A brand‑new bath house with restrooms, concessions, and indoor gathering space

Parking Information:
The parking lot entrance is accessible from east 4th Avenue on the park's east side. Ample street parking is also available.
