Date: Wednesday, June 11, 2026
Ages: Students entering 6-8th grades in fall 2026
Times: 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Pickup/Drop off times: Campers may be dropped off anytime between 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and picked up from 3:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pickup/Drop off: University Welcome Center at Augustana University, located at 2100 S Summit Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided
For the safety of the campers, your student(s) must attend camp for the entire day. We are not able to coordinate early pickups or late dropoffs.
ABOUT THE CAMP
At Your Future STEM Summer Day Camp, hosted by the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, students will explore different areas of STEM. The day will be a mix of Augustana University faculty instructing sessions in the areas of biology, chemistry, physics, and education, and activities led by STEM-related businesses/organizations.
The content of each camp day is nearly the same. Please register your student(s) for only one day to allow for as many campers to participate as possible.
TRACKS
You’ll select ONE track during registration, which will determine your child’s group and the industry focus of their last camp activity (Construction, Engineering, Healthcare, Energy, or Cyber). If your child would like to be in the same group as a friend, both campers should register for the same track. We are not able to make exceptions or adjust tracks after registration.
PRE-CAMP REGISTRATION
Parents/Guardians: You MUST complete your student(s) registration prior to camp at a pre-camp registration day. This is to ensure your student(s) registration is complete and to provide their t-shirt, name badge, sign forms, and to answer any questions you may have. These will take place at the Augustana University Welcome Center, located at 2100 S. Summit Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57105. You may stop by at your convenience during the following times:
- Monday, June 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 9 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
During registration, Eventbrite will first ask for your name and email, and will display a 'order successful' message once you've entered that information. This does not complete your registration! Please wait for the order form to appear, where you'll enter the remaining registration details, such as child's name, t shirt size, etc.
