It seems that this Summer, a week hasn't passed without public comment from a government figure pertaining to the upcoming elections. Come hear the latest news about your voting rights for the November 2026 mid-term elections.
You will hear speakers from the Howard County Historical Society, the Howard County Board of Elections, and the Election Protection Program sponsored by Common Cause.
Where: the Historic Courtroom at The Capitoline Center (the renovated Court House in Old Ellicott City), 8360, Court Avenue, Ellicott City, MD
When: Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Directions: Park in the lot at 3699 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD. The Capitoline Center will be downhill on the left on Court Place. The address for the Capitoline Center listed in Maps (8630 Court Avenue) leads to the original entrance, where no parking is available.
Handicapped parking is adjacent to the building. Turn left from Court Place heading downhill from the parking lot. The sidewalk slopes to the main entrance, which is accessible. There is an elevator inside.
