The medicine wheel is a global shamanic form of creating balance. In multiple traditions, through all the continents, there is the consistent principal of finding the balance between air, fire, earth and water. This relates to the finding of balance between mind, spirit, body and emotion. In the Mayan medicine wheel there is an even deeper function and meaning to the medicine wheel and this relates to our soul journey. Our soul comes into this world in order to learn the four pathways. These four pathways of the soul are experiential stages that the soul passes through, and we come here to learn these four lessons in order to evolve in our soul journey.
In these two days we look at the medicinal function of the wheel, the ways in which we can find balance in ourselves and in the spaces that we live and work, including ceremonial spaces. We look at the wheel as a diagnostic tool in healing, and we explore practical ways in which the wheel can be used in our daily lives in our homes, in relationships and in our work. We then go into the teachings of the four pathways which can go some way into answering the question of why we came here to this planet.
The two days will involve meditation, ceremony, ritual, subtle movement and seminars.
