These two veterans of the Aotearoa music scene meld together distinct yet complimentary production styles to weave a tapestry of heavy 70’s dub/reggae , 80’s lovers rock and dancehall with a modern Aotearoa twist .
Uplifting, hook laden melodies ride a wave of seismic dub riddims as Italiks’ earnest , soul drenched vocals deliver compelling narratives that question the status quo, explore the struggle within and celebrate the redemptive and unifying power of music in the face of a dystopian present.
