Your Pelvic Floor + Deep Core - 1/2 Day of Pelvic Empowerment

The pelvic floor and core are two deeply personal and sacred spaces of the body. They are energetically connected and equally essential to our vitality and wellbeing. In this workshop we will go inside; illuminating these places and making connections to create freedom, strength and ease.

Taught by Liz Ilgenfritz - ERYT-500 Yoga Teacher, Pelvic Floor Educator, Holistic Sexuality Educator, Embodiment Coach and Women’s Circle Facilitator.

In this workshop you can expect to:

-Connect with your Pelvic Floor through postures, breath and embodiment coaching

-Learn about the anatomy, physiology and energetic essence of your pelvis, pelvic floor and core

-Discover and deepen your relationship with your pelvic floor and core

-Gain practical techniques for building + maintaining a healthy core and pelvic floor.

-Unlearn bad habits and poor instruction

-Receive instructions you can take into your daily life and into your group classes.

-Discuss desire, pleasure and orgasm, and how sexual response works!

Together we will practice:

-Poses and breath to lengthen and strengthen, engage and relax these vital muscles.

-Posture and alignment to access the ‘deep core’ the “keystones” of the body for effortless strength and vitality.

-Core-strengthening from the inside out.

-Methods for feeling your body as one whole, integrated unit.

We will hold space for:

-Self-inquiry + Reflection as we explore our inner landscape as women today.

-Consider how these sacred spaces relate to and from your sense of your sexuality.

-Owning, Releasing and Celebrating the truth of our inner experience.

-Expressing + witnessing in the sacred space of sisterhood.

This course is for you if you:

-Never really understand when a teacher says, “squeeze your pelvic floor” or “engage your abdominals” and don’t get ‘kegels’ or ‘mula bandha’.

-Feel your core isn’t as strong as you desire.

-Have back, foot, hip or neck pain

-Are in or approaching the peri/menopausal phase of life

-Experience any type of urinary, reproductive/sexual discomfort, disconnection or dysfunction.

-Creatively feel blocked or ‘out of flow’.

-Are experiencing challeges with sexual desire, pleasure and orgasm.

-Feel disconnected from your core and pelvis.

-Continue to ‘chase’ strength and vitality in your body.

-Have a pelvis…seriously, every woman!

** This workshop will include a 30min break for lunch + connection
