About this Event
"Your Hands Can Save A Heart” is a first-of-its-kind national CPR and AED training event led by youth sudden cardiac arrest survivor Heather Freligh, whose story has fueled a mission to expand CPR education, AED awareness, and life-saving action nationwide. After surviving sudden cardiac arrest as a young athlete, Heather has become a leading advocate for heart health and emergency preparedness, inspiring communities to be ready when seconds count.
In partnership with Avive Solutions, Prestan Products, and the Kyle J. Taylor Foundation, this landmark event will bring 400–600 volunteers to Saint Mary’s High School’s Sanguinetti Field for a large-scale, hands-on CPR and AED training focused on empowering everyday people with the skills and confidence to save lives.
Set in a student-athlete environment, this event will spotlight the importance of emergency preparedness in schools, sports, and communities. Attendees will take part in accessible training while local leaders, businesses, and community organizations unite around one purpose: saving lives.
This is more than training. It’s a movement to educate, empower, and prepare more people to act in a cardiac emergency. Join us, learn essential life-saving skills, and be part of a national effort to create safer, more prepared communities.
