Your choice. Your voice: Your health and care

This event is co-hosted by Manchester Advocacy Alliance and GM Older Pople's Network.

Using different techniques to help spark your imagination, we will explore what you might need or want in the future, so you retain your rights to make your own decisions about your health, where you live, and the level of care you want.

Who is this event for?

Older people - people aged 50 +.

We particularly encourage those of you who may have experience of not being, or not feeling, heard. We will try to make the session as accessible as possible so everyone can contribute.

Please note

• We will have access to the room beforehand, so please feel free to arrive from 1.30 onwards so you can get a drink and get settled so we can start promptly at 2pm
• Refreshments are available throughout the afternoon
• There will be a short break about 3pm
• We will be using the microphones and hearing loop

Manchester Advocacy Alliance is funded by Manchester City Council and works primarily in the city of Manchester. For this event we welcome people from across Greater Manchester to share their views and insights. However, as the project develops any ideas or initiatives that arise will be focussed on the city of Manchester rather than Greater Manchester.
