Young Women With Heart Fall Fundraiser

Welcome to the second annual Young Women With Heart Fall Fundraiser!

Come join us at The Admiral on September 13, 2025 for an afternoon of fun, networking and giving back! The YWWH’s Fall Fundraiser is an opportunity to spread awareness and raise money to support the Greater Washington Women's Board of the American Heart Association. The funds raised by the Women’s Board provide grants to top scientists and researchers in their journey to discover innovative solutions to prevent heart disease and stroke. 100% of ticket proceeds will be donated directly to this cause.

With a ticket purchase each attendee will have the opportunity to win one of the below door prizes and to bid on our silent auction luxury prizes!

Door prizes will feature an array of gift cards including Millie's, Aqua Nails, Compliments Only, Sugared + Bronzed and South Block, among other local businesses. Silent auction prizes will feature a $500 Tuckernuck Gift Card, Stitch Avenue Needlepoint Kit, Botox/Filler Package and a 3-Pack of Method Room Pilates Classes, among other luxury items!

Who are the Young Women With Heart?

Young Women With Heart (YWWH) is a group under the Greater Washington Women’s Board of the American Heart Association, which aims to provide an accessible way for women under the age of 35 to be involved in a charitable organization. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the US, killing nearly twice as many women as cancer each year.

We are thrilled to host our second annual Fall Fundraiser at The Admiral from 12PM-2PM. We look forward to creating a fun and relaxed setting for young professionals to network, while raising money for a good cause. A ticket purchase ($25) will enter attendees into a door prize drawing, thanks to sponsorships from several local businesses. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go to the Women’s Board of the American Heart Association to fund the grants that they distribute for heart disease research annually at the Affair of the Heart Luncheon in February.
