Young Women Prom Event with Andria Tupola

The Annual Young Women Prom Event was started in 2015 by Andria Tupola on the Westside of O'ahu to increase self respect and self worth among teenage girls through the words of confident women, modest dress, and empowering actions. This free event for families and all ages will be held on February 20th, 7pm at New Hope O'ahu. There will be inspiring speeches and free dresses, jewelry, shoes, and prizes for all attendees.
"Women in Design" is this year's theme as we honor exemplary women in the field of fashion and design. Our speakers are Meilin Vitale-Vae, the founder and owner of Missing Polynesia, and Alexis Akiona, a Hilo native, and the owner of Lexbreezy Hawai'i. Ten young women from the community will participate in a fashion show of prom attire at the event and there will be free prizes, vendor booths, and gift bags.
The event is hosted and organized by Andria Tupola a community advocate and leader in the State of Hawai'i. Ho'ola Na Pua will be a vendor and presenting their message of hope against sex trafficking throughout the event. Lastly, this wouldn't be possible without our wonderful venue sponsor New Hope O'ahu.
