REMNEB MEDIA DAILY | YOUNG WARRIORS READY FOR BIG RUGBY WEEKEND TOURNAMENT
Excitement is building as young rugby stars prepare to take to the field on the 10th and 11th of October for a special youth rugby tournament celebrating teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
This highly anticipated weekend event will bring together talented young players from different schools and communities, all united by their passion for rugby and the opportunity to showcase their skills on the field.
Participating teams include:
Parkdene Primary School
Dellville Park Primary School
Pacaltsdorp Primary School
Rosemoor Warriors
Heidedal Primary School
For many of these young athletes, the tournament represents far more than just competition. It is a platform to build confidence, create friendships, learn valuable life lessons, and grow both on and off the field.
Throughout the weekend, supporters can expect moments of determination, courage, teamwork, and pride as the players give their all from the first whistle to the final cheer.
Organisers say the event aims to promote:
Teamwork and unity
Respect for opponents and officials
Discipline and resilience
Positive youth development through sport
Community connection through rugby
Parents, teachers, coaches, and community members are expected to come out in support of the young players as they create lasting memories during what promises to be an inspiring rugby weekend.
To every player stepping onto the pitch: play hard, play fair, respect the game, and enjoy every moment.
The future of rugby is on display — and the next generation is ready.
