Young Stitchers: Gingerbread House decoration

We will be showing the young stitchers how to build a christmas decoration from felt and stitch. This will take the form of a ginger bread house which they can decorate with a wreath at the door and snow on the roof.

This project will build on their sewing skills and dexterity as they construct this 3dimensional piece.

All materials will be provided. We welcome a small donation of £3 and £5 towards the cost of the materials.

These sessions for children aged 6–18 years, are run by our experienced DBS-checked volunteers from our membership.

This session is 2 hours which includes 15 minute set up & 15 minute tidy up which we ask the children to help with.

Places are limited to around 10.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please bring a water bottle for each child.
