Young Shots Game Shooting Skills Day at Ian Coley Sporting

The day is aimed at youngsters that are looking to start shooting live quarry. Youngsters will cover all aspect of a shoot day from safety, the structure of the day, shooting techniques, etiquette and skills to become a sustainable game shooter.

The day includes:

Theory session

· Format of a game day

· Etiquette on peg and throughout the day

· Shotgun Law

· Wildlife law/General licence

· Quarry identification

Practical session

· Safety

· Range judging

· Shooting a range of driven clay targets with BASC Coach

· Carcass preparation

Youngsters will need to bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing for the expected weather.

All other equipment will be provided but if your youngster has a shotgun they are welcome to bring it.
