Young Poets in Performance: the Young Poet Laureate Final at Rugby Library

The Young Poet Laureate Final is an exciting celebration of young creative talent, where the shortlisted candidates for Warwickshire’s Young Poet Laureate perform their poetry to a live audience at Rugby Library. After a day of workshops with professional poet and Coventry Poet Laureate 2021–23, Emilie Lauren Jones, and interviews with a judging panel, the finalists will share their work on stage. Audiences will also enjoy special performances from Emilie Lauren Jones and the current Young Poet Laureate, Naomi Mba, before the judges announce the Young Poet Laureate for 2026/27.
