Join Mead Botanical Garden's Young Naturalist Explorers class, Saturday, October 17, 2025 at 6P.M. to learn all about bats!
Come get batty with us on October 17th at 6PM for an interactive lesson on bats, followed by a twilight hike. In the barn we will have a variety of hands-on activities for participants to learn about bats and how scientists study them. Then an interpretive hike will begin, focusing on Florida bat species, where you can find them, and how to listen for them.
What to bring?
- Red head lamp or Red flashlight
- Close-toed walking shoes/boots
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Water
- Your sense of curiosity
