The YMA is open to 20 students entering grades 7–10 in Fall 2026. Students will explore the exciting world of advanced manufacturing and discover the skills needed for future careers in this growing industry.Participants will learn about the capabilities of ASUMH’s Technical Center, including programs in Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Welding, and Marine Manufacturing. Students will see how the next generation of manufacturing creates exciting career opportunities for everyone, including young women interested in technology and engineering fields.
Throughout the class, students will:
Hear from industry and education partners about real career and educational pathways
Participate in hands-on, fun manufacturing activities
Learn about the skills and technologies used in modern manufacturing
Lunch and snacks will be provided daily.
Parents are responsible for dropping students off by 8:00 AM and picking them up at 4:00 PM each day.
