Join host and curator Nyaluak Leth for a showcase of poets from the African diaspora - this will be a live cultural experience in the spirit of Def Jam Poetry, celebrating Black excellence through performance poetry, music, and art in a space that feels intimate, electric, and deeply communal.Not only is it a Poetry Month event — it’s also the rebirth of Poetiq Honesty, a platform Nyaluak began in 2020 to amplify raw, unfiltered spoken word in Sydney and beyond.
Performers include Cocoa the Conscious, Atoc & Amuor Malou and Ifeoma Peace Obiegbu.
Note: all proceeds from this event will go to the charity No Taps.
