Our Halloween Vintage Screenings continue with another classic Mel Brooks screening from the vaults, in honour of the legendary comedian’s 100th birthday this year. It can only be the frightfully funny comedy-horror spoof Young Frankenstein. Gene Wilder shines as the eccentric scientist who can’t escape his family past, no matter how vehemently he insists it’s pronounced “Fronkensteen”… We’ll be pairing it with a flight of wines from Eastern Europe, showcasing countries and varieties that are at last beginning to earn their rightful reputation in the international scene.
