Join us this summer break and become a part of the esteemed Young Environmental Stewards (Y.E.S.) Program. This program presents a captivating opportunity for high school students (ages 14 - 17) to not only immerse themselves in the great outdoors but also gain valuable leadership skills, foster teamwork, and earn community service hours. Participants will delve into various environmental topics and explore potential careers in this field through engaging activities and hands-on experiences.Throughout the week-long program, Y.E.S. participants will embark on exciting field trips where they will actively contribute to environmental stewardship. They will participate in tasks such as invasive plant removal, kayak clean-ups, and other captivating activities, all designed to provide a dynamic and immersive experience in the realm of environmental conservation.
Please note that advance registration is mandatory for this program. Due to the program's nature, walk-up registrations will not be permitted, so be sure to secure your spot in advance.
