FAQs:- What is Young Eagles?
Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated 30 years to giving youth ages 8–17 their first free ride in an airplane.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
Today, over 2.5 million young people have enjoyed a free introductory flight through the Young Eagles program.

- What can I expect the day of the event?
Bring your child to get signed up on site, get their pre-flight instruction, and enjoy their first flight experience with a seasoned pilot that lasts approximately 15 minutes.
There will be lots of fun on the ground too where they'll hear cool flying stories from our local pilots, get to ask aviation questions, and there will even be some fun activities for everyone to participate in. ;)
- What about the weather?
Many factors go into making good flying conditions and safety is our main concern. Impacts of low cloud cover, storms, high winds, or other conditions may cause us to need to cancel or end the event early. CHECK THIS EVENT PAGE FOR REAL TIME UPDATES ABOUT THE EVENT.
- Is there a maximum number of Young Eagles that can go up?
We have a limited number of pilots and planes, so make sure you get there early to be able to fly! Additionally, please RSVP to this Event as 'Going' so we can be best prepared.
