Kids and families are invited to the first of three summer Young Audiences performances that provide live and interactive entertainment for local kids that are both fun and educational. At the first session, it will feature Elizabeth Kahura, the founder of the African Safari Program who was born in Kenya and regularly visits schools and libraries as a storyteller, performer, singer, and educator. Kahura will be on hand to present folktales from Africa that will include poetry, proverbs, riddles, tongue twisters, and more as part of an interactive show as part of the Summer Reading Challenge lineup at your library.
