Got a teenage dog that suddenly “forgot” everything you taught them as a puppy? Pulling on walks, selective listening, jumping, barking, overexcitement, distractions, or complete chaos when guests come over? You are not alone — and this class was built specifically for that stage.
Our Young Adult Group Class focuses on real-life problem solving for everyday dog owners who want a calmer, more responsive dog without fear, intimidation, or punishment-based training. This is a positive reinforcement-based class designed to help you better understand your dog while building trust, structure, and communication.
This 6-week class is designed to help with:
✔ Pulling on leash
✔ Jumping on people
✔ Poor focus and listening
✔ Overstimulation and excitement
✔ Barking and frustration behaviors
✔ Lack of impulse control
✔ Greeting people politely
✔ Confidence building
✔ Strengthening engagement with owners
✔ Learning how to work around distractions
What You’ll Learn:
How to communicate clearly with your dog
How to reward the behaviors you actually want
How to stop unintentionally reinforcing bad habits
Real-life obedience skills that apply outside the classroom
Better structure, consistency, and confidence as a dog owner
Class Expectations:
Dogs must be between 6 months and 2 years old
Dogs must be current on vaccinations
Positive reinforcement training methods only
Owners must attend and participate each week
Consistency at home is strongly encouraged for the best results
Please bring high-value treats, a standard leash, and a great attitude
This class is not about creating “perfect” dogs. It is about creating better communication, solving frustrating behaviors, and helping both dogs and owners succeed together in everyday life.
