The World Outside of Ecuanoma is the first book in a series that follows a young woman raised in a rigid, isolated society. When she escapes, she’s thrown into a world filled with things she was taught to fear: art, love, risk, freedom. As she builds her new life, she must confront the lies she grew up with and decide who she wants to become.

Karla Brun is an Ecuadorian author and creative who weaves together fiction, emotion, and raw truth. With a passion for exploring what it means to be alive and free, Karla writes stories that blend darkness, beauty, and heart. The World Outside of Ecuanoma is her debut novel.
