Hey everyone! Exciting news – the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market is teaming up with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council and Mecklenburg County Health Department’s Food Security Program to offer SNAP/EBT benefits at the market! Starting Saturday, April 5th, Volunteers will be at the market every other Saturday throughout the year. And guess what? The Double Bucks program will also be continued! That is right You SNAP, We Match! You can find volunteers in the Got to Be NC Building (the one with the red barn doors) in space A33. Look out for the flags at the front of the building and at their booth to easily locate them. Thank you to everyone who has helped make it easier for those in our community facing food insecurity to access the nutrition they need. We’re proud to be a part of this program that supports individuals and farmers alike. See you at the market!
