You Joined ULSTLYP… Now Let’s Actually Use That Membership 😄
ULSTLYP Family, Friends and Future Members,
Quick question: Have you ever paid for a gym membership and then realized you haven’t actually been to the gym? 😂
You keep telling yourself, “I’m going next week.” Meanwhile, that membership is just sitting there waiting on you.
Well… your ULSTLYP membership works a little like that.
You joined for a reason. Maybe it was to expand your network. Maybe you wanted to serve the community, grow professionally, meet other young professionals, develop your leadership skills—or simply find some good people doing meaningful things in St. Louis.
Whatever brought you here, we want to help you actually USE your membership.
That’s why our next General Body Meeting is going to be a little different.
And before you ask—NO, this will not be 90 minutes of Robert’s Rules of Order. 😂
We’re also not going to spend the evening having leaders read status reports to you that could have been posted in GroupMe or emailed.
This meeting is about YOU.
It’s about reengaging, reconnecting, networking, and finding your lane in the movement.
We’re creating an interactive evening where you’ll have opportunities to:
Meet and connect with other young professionals
Learn what’s happening during the remainder of 2026
Discover upcoming networking, service and professional-development opportunities
Find projects where your skills and interests can make an impact
Share what YOU want to see from ULSTLYP
Meet people who might become friends, collaborators, mentors, clients—or your next opportunity
Most importantly, you don’t have to become an officer or chair a committee to be involved.
Maybe your lane is volunteering at an event.
Maybe it’s helping with marketing.
Maybe it’s professional development.
Maybe it’s community service.
Maybe you have an idea we haven’t even thought about yet.
Or maybe your first step is simply showing up and meeting some people.
All of those count.

If you’ve been attending consistently, bring another young professional with you.
