Are you currently going through a fair housing complaint or investigation with HUD, Metro Fair Housing, the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity, or another fair housing agency?
Has your complaint been assigned to an investigator, but you still don't understand what is happening, what you should document, or what happens next?
Do you have Section 8, a Housing Choice Voucher, public housing, or another housing assistance program? You have rights. But knowing your rights is only the beginning.
Fair Housing Rights: From Paper to Real Life
A practical educational workshop for low-income tenants, seniors, people with disabilities, Section 8 participants, Housing Choice Voucher participants, public-housing residents, and people currently navigating fair housing complaints or investigations.
Filing a complaint is not the end of the process. Understanding what happens next can be just as important.
We’ll discuss:

This workshop may be especially important if you are already in the process.
If you have filed a complaint, are communicating with an investigator, have submitted evidence, are waiting for a decision, are dealing with conciliation, have received an unfavorable decision, or simply don't understand what happens next, this workshop is designed to help you better organize and navigate the process.

Program Participation Fees
$25 — Single low-income households receiving SNAP or TANF
$40 — Couples and households with children receiving SNAP or TANF
$75 — Individuals who do not receive SNAP or TANF
Free for all children under 18 accompanying a registered adult.
