You Can Sit With Us: Artist Brunch Party

This brunch is a celebratory close out to the Representation Matters Exhibit. If you are looking to connect with fellow Artists, and celebrate the importance of Black, Brown and LGBTQIA+ Artists, then this is the party for you! We will have live paintings, food, drinks, and performances while enjoying the scenery of the Representation Matters Exhibition. We are celebrating Artists of all forms at this Brunch, so come on out and we hope to see you soon!

Here is a little more about the exhibit, the curator and sponsors:

Representation Matters - What does this mean to you? What do you represent and why does it matter to you? Representation Matters illustrates activism in art form and illuminates the creations by Black and Brown artists, while accepting that love is love. This exhibition functions as a projection of social change while reminding society that we need to uplift and embrace Black and Brown Artists and Businesses. This visual unveiling will also bring awareness and emphasis to the act of treating the Black, Brown and LGBTQIA+ rights and individuals as equals while admiring their proud autonomy. Representation Matter serves as a safe haven and eye opener to all Black and Brown Entrepreneurs, Creators, Artists and LGBTQIA+ community members and artists. We are celebrating all art and we are stronger together!

This exhibit is curated by Jess "JessTimeless" Patterson and is sponsored by Outta Space and Bungalo+ (Berwyn United Neighborhood Gay And Lesbian Organization Plus). The Outta Space is an Outta the ordinary, unique bar, live music venue, and art gallery. The Space is an all-inclusive space where everyone is welcome. They offer a variety of events from monthly art shows to weekly live music, as well as a private rental venue, and everything in between. Their vision is to inspire collaboration, creation, and support for artists from all walks of life by providing a positive and powerful community.
