You Can Hike with Us: 9/19/26 at Rice Lake State Park

You Can Hike with Us is an inclusive hiking group for all skill levels. Our meetups are open to all adults (18+) who self-identify as women.

Cost: $7 or free with State Parks Pass

If you plan to attend 5 or more parks a year, it is best to purchase an annual park pass. Cell service can be spotty at this park, purchasing your pass ahead of getting to the park may be easier.

To be respectful of time, we will do quick intros and embark on our hike around 10:05am. Please ensure you allow enough travel time to arrive by 10am. We can park and meet at the picnic area. Follow the signs as you enter the park, the picnic area is a bit down the road from the park's main entrance; use the Google Maps link to navigate.

Hike:

We plan to hike approximately 3 to 4 miles, terrain is unpaved with a few hills. Exact trail route will be shared closer to the hike, and route is subject to change based on trail conditions.

What to bring: Hiking boots or sneakers with good traction,dress in layers for the weather, sunglasses,phone/camera, water, snacks, sunscreen & bug spray.

Due to the larger group setting, no dogs or pets unless they are working/service animals.

We will cap sign-ups at 35 attendees. This ensures everyone joining us has a comfortable hiking experience and avoids negatively impacting the experience of others recreating on the trails.
