So many women in midlife find themselves in a similar place… kids grown, life shifting, and suddenly realizing, "Wait — is it too late to find real friends?"It can feel surprisingly lonely, even in a place like North County where there's so much around us.
I actually went through something similar after moving here, and it's a big part of why I created Connected Hearts. It's a welcoming community of women here in Carlsbad who are looking for real friendship, meaningful conversation, and a sense of connection again — not cliques or surface-level stuff, but genuine, supportive relationships.
We gather multiple times a month — through in-person gatherings and other connection points — so it's not just a one-time event, but a space where real friendships can actually grow. Everything is designed so there's no awkward social pressure — just come as you are and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you feel at ease.
