About this Event
Explore how a sacred drumming circle can help you and your loved ones navigate the end of life process, by providing a safe and reverent space to express love and emotions, to honour the cycle of life, and to allow grief both before and after the passing away.
These circles can offer a truly personal and intimate way to celebrate the whole of life and the passing of loved ones, that can be shaped to suit the family and friends by offering a beautiful, connected and spiritual alternative to a more formal religious memorial or ceremony.
The circles will be lead by the collaborative energies of Ayşë, End of Life Doula and Holistic Therapist, and Elaine, an artist, sacred space holder, energy worker and leader of shamanic drum circles, known as The Humble Drummer.
The event will provide an opportunity to see how a sacred drumming circle works, to understand what the gentle and heart centred rituals of the circle can offer to all, to experience how shamanic drumming as an ancient medicine tool can help to provide comfort and connection, and to discover how individual sharing in a safe and compassionate space can help during the end of life period.
As part of the exploration there will be opportunities to discuss the rituals, the drumming, and more general topics around anything and everything to do with the end of life process, and to share thoughts and anything else that comes up. Ayşë and Elaine will together hold a safe space to vocalise your concerns, your wishes, your emotions, and to talk openly around the subject of death and dying.
