The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here—the 2025 Scarecrow Walk is just around the corner, and we’re calling on YOU to bring your creative vision to life! Dust off your crafting supplies, unleash your imagination, and help us fill the trail with some of the most inventive, whimsical, and or downright spooky scarecrows yet!

Whether you’re a seasoned scarecrow designer or a first-time participant, we’re excited to see what you come up with this year. This is your chance to show off your skills, have some fun, and contribute to one of Yorkville's most loved traditions. Back by popular demand, we're cranking up the excitement with voting! As visitors stroll through the Scarecrow Walk, they can scan the QR code on your scarecrow’s sign and vote for their top 3 favorites. The winners will be announced on the United City of Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department Facebook page—so make sure your scarecrow stands out!
Plus, each participant will get a personalized sign created by the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department to showcase who made the scarecrow, with an option to include a logo for those looking to represent their business or organization!
