Yorkshire Wellbeing Walk 🫶

Join the Menopause and Cancer community for a Wellbeing Walk in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire - a wonderful opportunity for you to meet the community and connect over shared experiences to support one another. Get moving, share experiences and meet people who truly understand your story.

For this walk, you will be meeting volunteer Helen at the Park Café (the one at the bottom of the park behind the conservatory) before embarking on a looped walk, and finishing up back there for refreshments.

The walk will be suitable for all abilities, and we have suitable options for wheelchair users.

It is a wonderful chance to connect with the community, make beautiful new connections and get moving! This will be a very casual but beautiful way to meet those who understand your story the most.

MEETING POINT:

10:30 - The Park Cafe - Park Ave, Huddersfield HD1 5PU

Key information:

• Parking - There is a small Pay & Display car park for stays of up to 3 hours behind the Conservatory (entrance in Park Avenue). This includes two disabled parking bays. Customers of The Park cafe can get a refund of £1 on their parking if they spend at least £5.Greenhead College car park in Park Avenue is now available for Pay on Entry public parking on weekdays from 6pm to 6am and all day at weekends, public holidays and outside College term times. The car park is on the opposite side of Park Avenue to the College, just past the Princess Royal Health Centre – only a few minutes walk from the main Trinity Street gates. Payment is by mobile methods only and the cost is £1 per hour for 1 or 2 hours, £3 for up to 5 hours & £3.50 for up to 12 hours.Springwood car park is the nearest town centre car park, a 5 – 10 minute walk from the Trinity Street gates.
• There are bathrooms in the cafe
• The walk is an easy walk suitable for all levels
