Info: Paul Mount, Deputy Agent for Yorkshire and the Humber, will give and update on the Bank of England’s November economic forecast and the outlook for the UK economy in the year ahead. He will focus in on growth, employment, inflation and interest rates.

In this presentation Jonathan Armstrong, an experienced lawyer at Punter Southall Law with a concentration on compliance & technology and a leading authority on tech law, will talk through some of the challenges and some of the AI cases that hit the courts and regulators so far.

Info: Andrew Mead, an Accounting Consultant from AndMe Consulting will give you an update on recent changes to UK GAAP. The FRC completed their Periodic Review of FRS 102 and FRS 105 in 2024, and this presentation will introduce you to the significant changes to both standards which come in to effect in 2026.
