Becoming Generation AI
Host: Prof Andy Miah
Info: While generations have traditionally been defined by birth years, the advent of consumer and business AI marks a new starting point that’s reshaping how all generations envision their personal and professional futures. From Gen X to Gen Beta, this shift profoundly influences how people approach financial security. Emerging financial assets—virtual land, NFTs, micro-equity stakes—are now commonly acquired before traditional banking relationships begin. In this talk, Prof Andy Miah - Chair of Science Communication & Future Media, in the School of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford - examines what these new habits mean for future markets, how “digital financial real estate” will come to dominate wealth, and what finance leaders must do to evolve strategies, products, and governance to engage this rising generation of economic power.
CIMA Update
