York Simcoe Nature Club invites you to our monthly general meeting at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 18794 Leslie St., Sharon. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month from September to June at 7:30 PM.
Our upcoming guest speaker, Jenn Baici is a post doctoral research fellow jointly with Trent University and U fo T, where she studies the social structure and behaviour of the eastern wild turkey. Prior to this she studied biocontrol of invasive species at the University of Toronto in the Master of Forest Conservation (MFC) program. Her research interests include avian ecology, nesting behaviour, insect ecology, and human-animal conflict mitigation.
