About this Event
This year’s AGM marks the beginning of York BID’s third term—an important milestone and a moment to celebrate progress, reflect on achievements from the past year, and look ahead to our future ambitions for the city.
We are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker, Ojay McDonald, Chief Executive of the , the national industry body representing BIDs and local authorities across the UK and Northern Ireland. Ojay works closely with government ministers, parliamentarians and industry leaders to champion best practice and shape policy affecting town and city centres.
In his keynote session, “The Future of High Streets: Purpose, Policy and Potential,” Ojay will explore the evolving role of high streets in our communities, how national policy is shaping their future, and the opportunities and challenges ahead.
We’ll also hear from Andrew Lowson, Executive Director of , who will present a review of the past year’s achievements and share exciting plans for the year ahead.
The evening will include the formal AGM company business, followed by an opportunity to network with fellow business members over drinks.
