About this Event

Join me for a walking tour of York's historic shopping streets. During December they are beautifully decorated for the festive season which makes York a magical place to be at Christmas time.

While we walk, I'll tell you some stories about Christmasses past, and about how York is central to how we celebrate Christmas today. We'll see sights and hear about Roman Emperors, Victorian sweet-sellers, and everything in between.

Wrap up warm, wear comfy shoes, and bring your camera! Come and enjoy York - voted the most christmassy city to visit!
