Our headline teachers/performers are Guillermo & Alexandra who have performed at the, MOBO Awards, on BBC's Strictly, as well as being choreographers for Strictly & more recently are on Tour with Vincent Simone (BBC Strictly Dancer) as lead dancers & choreographers in his hit s theatre show Tango Passions. They are also your long term fav's as they are lovely people 🙏
Your other Teachers are also amazing and have enjoyed teaching & performing for many years (See lower down)
The weekend is set in 2 Rooms & the evening dancing is all Modern Jive music in the main hall, with Smooth Jive, Tango, Jango & Blues in our 2nd room (Our 2nd room is everyones favourite room as the dancing and atmosphere is like a Mini Southport blues room, as was!).
We also have your favourite Dancing Masseuse Rob, Wellbeing specialist at Docherty Wellbeing. Don’t forget to book when you arrive, so he can fix & relax you, so you can get even more out of your weekend. Timings & Cost will be on our front desk.

Saturday Night: Dancing Modern Jive 8.30pm till 2am, with Full Cabaret via our Headline Teachers & some of our fabulous dancers with a fun routine, learnt during our Saturday Workshops + our optional fancy dress theme - Heroes & Villains
Room 2: 8 - 10pm WCS,/Smooth Jive then Argentine Tango with added fusions of Blues later on, till around 2am.
Saturday & Sunday Workshops 10.30am - 5.30pm 2 rooms approximately 10+ Workshops each day
Sunday Fun & Chill Dance: 8 - 11pm (Includes Complimentary Water & Cake) Then it’s off home, or join us for a pure calm down and chill out in the residents bar, no dancing after 11pm, just lots of lovely company and chit chat in the bar

We always aim to provide amazing Modern Jive Weekenders, whilst also dipping your toe into dances such as West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Blues, Latin Ballroom, American Swing & Lindy Hop plus our now famous fun group dance and this weekender is no exception, see below. Our 2 Main Dances are Modern Jive & Argentine Tango.
Guillermo & Alexandra, They first started dancing together in the West End Hit, Midnight Tango and are presently working with Vincent Simone on his latest Theatre Show! They have danced on BBC’s Strictly, ITV's This Morning and BBC2 Classic Brit awards. They travel world wide teaching and performing and they are currently touring between classes with the Uk show 'Tango Motion' with Tango Siempre.
Keith & Janey will be one of your Main Modern Jive Teacher’s - they have performed on the same stage as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Katie Melua & worked alongside Alisha Dixon on the BBC, Keith with Vicky also won the Ceroc Scottish & World Showcase 2018/19.
Linz West Coast Swing & Group Dance, the Queen of Choreography & WCS, keeping things fun and getting everyone into the groove - a firm favourite with ALL our dancers, teaching WCS & Group Fun Dance.
Sophie Brooke from Feather Steps School of Dance: Teaching Fun Latin Ballroom
Jan C, Fun Adult Ballet. After many years of dancing Ballet, Modern Lyrical and stage experience along with BBO, ISTD and RAD training (up to Advanced) at the Hammond School, Chester, then later Jan also became a Member of the NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing).
Shaun Davies (New to our Weekenders Jan 2025 & you love him) Teaching Modern Jive, Shaun teaches in a relaxed & smooth way & will be teaching his style of Modern Jive. A member of the LeRoc Federation, partner at Wings Club Chester.
