The legendary DISCOS FOR GROWN UPS 70s 80s 90s disco party is coming to York Barbican on Friday 15th August 2025 for an incredible boogie night to remember! Get glittered-up for a fun, fab and feel-good night of dancing with people your own age to the best ever 70s soul and disco, 80s pop and 90s dance floor classics.
Dance all night to the classics you love from Donna Summer, The Human League, Earth Wind and Fire, Chic, Black Box, Sister Sledge, Odyssey, Chaka Khan, ABBA, Madonna, Robin S, Erasure, Bee Gees, Candi Staton, Faithless and many more.
The show features amazing lights, effects and laser show, plus our famous glitterball stage dancers.
Free glow-sticks and retro sweets for everyone.
Dress code: disco glamour!
VIP ticket includes:
- 1x VIP TICKET
- VIP PRIORITY ACCESS Enter 15 mins before everyone else and early access to the bar and dance floor. VIP priority entrance from 7pm to 7.15pm.
- VIP DISCO GLOW PACK Light up the disco with our VIP glow pack...includes premium glow-stick pendant fun flashing foam baton and DFGUPS flashing LED bracelet.
- VIP GOLD WRISTBAND giving you 20% off all merchandise.
Doors open 7pm to 7.15pm for VIP ticket holders.
Doors open 7.15pm for all other ticket holders with dancing from 8pm to 11.30pm.
Please arrive by 8pm for the start of the show, so you don't miss any disco fun!
Last entry is 8.30pm...it starts at 8 so don't be late!
