The Kruger Park K9 Anti-Poaching Project have confirmed they will be with us again. A well trained dog and its handler are powerful weapons against wildlife crime. Dogs use their superior senses of smell, hearing, eyesight and agility to sense and do things that people can't. As poachers become more lethally armed, dogs provide vital early warning and safety systems for rangers and handlers.
Another blessing will be a demonstration by Lowveld Canine Coaching specialists for training pups, pets and problem dogs - applying positive reward based techniques.
Dr Jacqui Hooten Platorand Animal Clinic is excited to be part of the event again.

This is a fundraising event for Sabie-MAST, which is a non-profit community service who subsidizes/covers the cost of sterilization of animals in the informal settlements (bordering the Sabie Town) and within the lower income groups that reside within Sabie Town.
The man behind the mike will be Radio DJ, MC extraordinaire, voice over artist. A friendly guy with a microphone who also often wears a skirt when he plays the bagpipes with the “piping ensemble” Stevenson-Hamilton Pipe Band, Dave Walters.
Your fur-friends are allowed to participate on the day, but please ensure that they are on a leash and that they are social.
There will be lots to eat, drink, do and WIN on the day, with a fun Obstacle & Obedience Course and Hammer the Nail Competition for
which will take place after the Trail Run.
