Eddie Stern, MSc, esteemed yoga teacher, lecturer, science researcher and author from New York City, has spent over three decades studying, practising, and thinking about yoga.
Eddie’s approach to yoga is intentionally uncomplicated, making yoga and yogic practices accessible to all, deeply engaging and easily understandable. The weekend will comprise pranayama practices, led classes, mantra and lectures. Supportive, gentle and wise teaching.

Whether in conversation, class or lecture, Eddie makes learning yoga and yogic traditions accessible to all and easily understandable with an approach that is intentionally uncomplicated.

The founder of Broome Street Ganesha Temple in Manhattan, author of One Simple Thing : A New Look at the Science of Yoga and How it can Transform Your Life and co-creator of The Breathing App, Eddie also collaborates on scientific research projects, cooperates with public institutions on health and wellness programs and contributes to initiatives to promote peacefulness in NYC.

Eddie’s new offerings include ‘ Healing through Breathing’ an Audible Original and The Breathing App for Diabetes, both released in January 2024.

Experience of yoga practices is not essential to come to the workshop. All the classes and talks are open level and for practitioners of any type of yoga. Age 12 and up most welcome.
