Our yoga teacher training program meets and exceeds the highest industry standards and is Yoga Alliance accredited. Our program trainers are exceptional educators with the knowledge and experience needed to guide and support you on your way to becoming a yoga teacher.
- Learn how to keep students safe using intelligent sequencing and through in depth study of the functional anatomy as applied in yoga.
- Be immersed in the wisdom of the teachings and philosophies of Classical and Tantric Hatha Yoga.
- Learn how to share these teachings in a group yoga class setting and in private sessions.
- Explore and refine your asana and pranayama practice and learn to teach asana and pranayama to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.
- Be supported in a community that is welcoming and non-competitive.
- Our program teaches you about yoga beyond the poses. You’ll learn about yoga philosophy with Satya Yoga owner, Teresa Van Eyk, ERYT-500, how to apply the teachings in your personal practice, and how to teach philosophy in your classes and to your private clients in a way that is useful and accessible. This includes study of the yoga sutras, the eight limbs, the kleshas, the koshas, prana and the subtle body, the chakras, the vayus, and more!
- Our program includes an emphasis on functional anatomy as it applies to yoga and teaches the therapeutic application of yoga asana which many programs lack. Harvey Deutch, ERYT-500, is one of our program’s lead trainers and is a highly sought after physical therapist and a long time yoga teacher. He has spent decades blending the two fields and teaches anatomy in a way that is experiential, engaging, and humorous. He has taught in teacher trainings across the country.
Your program tuition includes 9 months unlimited yoga classes with your lead trainers Teresa Van Eyk eyrt500, and trainer Harvey Deutch eyrt500 and physical therapist of over 40 years. Sign up before Aug. 15th, 2024 and receive an additional 3 months of free unlimited yoga.
Dates:
Thursday evenings 6pm-8:30pm beginning on October 3rd and continuing throughout the training with no session on Nov. 28th and Dec. 26th.
