About this Event
Yoga and Pilates offer many benefits to hockey players. These forms of mind-body exercises counterbalance high-intensity training regimens. Learn techniques to strengthen and stabilize your core and improve overall flexibility, aspects of training that cannot be fulfilled by higher-intensity athletic approaches. Incorporating Yoga and Pilates into your regular training will offer balance to body and mind and help improve your game.

I’m Nicole and I am a bona fide movement enthusiast!
Throughout my life, I have explored a variety of dance styles, played a myriad of sports and experimented with a multitude of ways to move.
I was a professional belly dance performer when I began practicing yoga. The pursuit of greater flexibility was what brought me to my mat, but the self-study that yoga inspired within me kept me coming back.
When I discovered Pilates, I immediately knew that it was the ideal extra element to further develop my movement practice.
When not teaching or leading retreats, I can be found climbing mountains, hand-standing in random places or in my kitchen making delicious vegan goodness for my family and friends.
I am also the proud mother of two accomplished young men and a fierce LGBTQIA2S+ ally.
