Yoga Nidra invites us to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system and find deep rest.
Go a little bit deeper with Shelley in this unique workshop that will incorporate yoga nidra, EMDR resource tapping and polyvagal exercises.
This workshop invites students to practice nervous system regulation strategies that will promote a sense of deep rest and well-being–techniques that are proven to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety and improve sleep (with regular practice).
Shelley, a seasoned EMDR certified therapist, will guide you in a series of techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life. Presented by:
Shelley Landis, LCSW is a certified trauma therapist who utilizes yoga and polyvagal theory to help her clients feel more grounded in their own bodies. Shelley recently taught a Mindful Movement course to a group of refugees on the southside of Indianapolis. Shelley has been practicing yoga for over twenty-five years and has multiple advanced trainings in the use of yoga, polyvagal theory and other somatic modalities.
