Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a practice that allows you to experience a state of consciousness between being awake and asleep. During Yoga Nidra, your body is at rest while your mind remains alert and aware. One hour of Yoga Nidra practice is said to be as restorative for the body as four hours sleep. The yoga nidra script will be coupled with beautiful sounds of instruments such as the Tibetan bowls, koshis, gongs, shakers and incorporates yogic breathing (Pranayama) to move you into deep relaxation and restoration.
Sessions run for approx - 1 to 1.5 hours
What to bring - please bring along a yoga mat and pillow and blanket.
